There are plenty of interesting and challenging
clubs to join at Discovery Prep including ‘The Explorer
Club’,
the ‘Foreign Language Club’, the ‘Destination Europe
Club’, the ‘LA Marathon Club’ (last year10 students
went the distance), and the ‘Stat Club’ which boasts
a 4 day stat “camping trip” the weekend before the
AP Test.
Discovery Prep has a thriving Debate/Speech club
made up of 25 members! This year 4 Debate Team members
qualified for the State finals. The Debate
Team participates
in tournaments statewide and Discovery Prep’s
debate team is now ranked 3rd in the league.
