Every student at Discovery Prep has a full-time
college counselor. This ensures that every student
is enabled with the tools to prepare themselves for
college.
The college counselor is there to help parents and
students understand the complicated process of preparing
for and applying to college. Counselors also help
parents and students navigate the financial aid part
of college admissions.
Mandatory Meetings
There are mandatory individual meetings that students
and parents must attend with the college counselor. This
ensures that the student AND parent are on the right
track for their children to get into college.

to make sure all students are taking the classes

why they are preparing for college. In the 11th and
12th grade there is focus on helping students identify
