Discovery Prep is a comprehensive high school preparing
all students to attend the country’s top universities
and colleges. The mission, which every stakeholder
signs on to, is the most powerful tool for accomplishing
the mission of the school.
Discovery Prep believes that each and every student
should be prepared to attend college when they graduate
from high school. Discovery Prep prepares students
to not only go to college but to the countries top
colleges and universities. With a college prep high
school education, students have choices when they
graduate from high school. They will be qualified
to enter college or technical fields because they
will have the academic foundation required to succeed
in today’s economy.
Discovery Prep is not a standard college prep school.
Discovery Prep integrates college prep material into
real world projects that affect the students and
their communities. Teachers and students choose a
project they would like to work on. Teachers then
design steps around the project that incorporates
the skills students need to become academically prepared
for college and the skills they need to complete
the project.
