When you make a choice to go to Discovery Prep,
you make a choice as student and parent to work as
a team. Discovery Prep recognizes the importance
of teamwork, and that’s why we have mandatory
parental involvement with both the student and school.
Students remain in the same advisory for the entire
4 years at Discovery Prep. Each advisory only has
20 students, so students are guaranteed to get the
time and attention needed to succeed. Class sizes
on average are 25 students or less.
Parents have 24/7 access to their child’s
grade in real time via the internet. It is required
that
parents check their child’s grade at least
once a week. Parents are also required to volunteer
for Discovery Prep projects at least 30 hours a year.
